Chromosome number: 2n= 40 (Stepanyan, 2002); 2n= 42 (Kuprianova, 1982; Manilo, 1998)

Distribution in Armenia:
Altitudes: 375-1300 m a.s.l.
Administrative regions: Araks basin: S-Syunik (possibly introduced), Yerevan (Introduced), Armavir (Introduced).
Habitats: Buildings and ruins as well as rocklands covered by phryganoid vegetation in arid temperate zone.
Global distribution:
Asia: Armenia, Georgia, Azerbaijan, N/E Iran, NW Afghanstan, Islands of the Caspian Sea, Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan.
Known trend: Not objective data available (presumably "developing sporadic introduced taxon").
